Lost Circulation Material (LCM) Tester

Selecting an effective lost circulation material means knowing its plugging capacity before it’s mixed into a field pill. The Inmotion Lost Circulation Material (LCM) Tester applies a two-stage regulated nitrogen differential across interchangeable gap plates to simulate fracture, vug and rubble-zone geometry, letting field and laboratory personnel determine plugging efficiency, fluid loss and plug breakdown strength quickly and repeatably, consistent with API RP 13I test principles.

FEATURES

✔ Six Interchangeable Gap Plates: #1 through #6 (#6 fully open, equal to cell bore) simulate geometry from tight induced
fractures to large vugs.
✔ Two-Stage Regulated Nitrogen Supply: clean, regulated differential pressure to (1000 ± 10) psi, with supply, line and
working pressure each shown on its own gauge.
✔ Dedicated Reverse-Exhaust Cylinder: connects at the discharge fitting to measure plug/seal breakdown strength, not
just initial sealing.
✔ 4,000 mL Cell Body: full test volume in a single fill, with no mid-test topping-up — fill to the marked fill line, leaving
head-space for the nitrogen charge.
