PRODUCT SPECIFICATION — Triple-Link LPLT Assembly
Model: IM-MFP-LPLT3 Compliance / target standard: High-Throughput Rig Lab
Triple-Link LPLT Assembly
Figure 4. Triple-Link LPLT Assembly (reference photograph). Components are listed on page 2.
Intended applications
• Simultaneous filtration tests on three mud samples or replicates.
• Comparing fluid-loss additive dosages side by side.
• Testing the same mud at three time intervals or treatment levels.
• Reducing laboratory turnaround time in busy mud-logging or service labs.
FEATURES
• Three independent API cells sharing one regulated pressure supply.
• Individual inlet valves so each test is started and stopped independently.
• Common manifold with pressure gauge for consistent test pressure.
• Three graduated receivers positioned for easy reading.
• Rigid frame with fixed cell positions for quick assembly.

| Test Duration | 30 minutes (per API) |
| Pressure Source | Regulated CO2 or nitrogen through common manifold |
| Filter Medium | 90 mm hardened filter paper |
| Receivers | 3 x 10 / 25 mL graduated cylinders |
Main components (see Figure 4)
| No. | Component |
| 1 | Individual cell inlet valve |
| 2 | Common pressure manifold |
| 3 | Regulator and gauge |
| 4 | Filter cell |
| 5 | Frame and base |
| 6 | Filtrate receiver |
Principle of operation
Basic operating procedure
1. Assemble three dry cells with screen, filter paper and gasket, fill each with mud and close.
2. Mount the cells in the frame and connect each to its inlet valve; close all valves.
3. Place a dry graduated cylinder under each drain tube.
4. Set the regulator to 100 psi, open each inlet valve in turn (within 30 s) and start its timer.
5. At 30 minutes record each filtrate volume, close its valve and relieve pressure from that cell.
6. Remove the cells, measure cake thickness and record results for each sample.
Calibration and maintenance
• Check the manifold and each valve for leaks under pressure.
• Replace O-rings and filter screens on a regular schedule.
• Verify the gauge and regulator periodically against a reference.
• Flush lines and clean cells immediately after use.
Safety precautions
• Relieve pressure from every cell before opening.
• Do not exceed the rated manifold pressure.
• Wear eye protection; handle hot or chemically treated mud with care.
