Marsh Funnel Viscometer (PE)
Funnel viscosity gives field crews a fast read on drilling fluid flow behavior without running a full
rheology profile. The Inmotion Marsh Funnel Viscometer times how quickly one quart (946 mL)
of fluid drains through a calibrated brass orifice, referenced against fresh water flowing out in 26 ±
0.5 seconds at 70 ± 5°F. The molded polyethylene body stands up to daily handling on the rig floor
and in the lab, while the brass orifice keeps outflow times consistent from reading to reading and
unit to unit.
